1981 — Abid Food Store founded by the father of today’s owners.
2002: A New Identity
In 2002, Abid Food Store was rebranded as Abu Bakr Supermarkets, ushering in a new era of growth and identity.
2002: Queen’s Road Store
In 2002, we opened our Queen’s Road store, marking the beginning of our expansion beyond the original site.
2004: Roundhay Road Store
Our expansion continued in 2004 with the opening of the Roundhay Road store, bringing our values to more families and communities.
2015: Beeston Store
The year 2015 saw the opening of our Beeston store, strengthening our presence in the community and broadening our reach.
2017: Expanding Our Offering
